He couldn't see him anymore. He was gone in the fog. Stiles were now alone in the creepy forest without a phone.
"Derek?" He called.
Why had he come along? The only thing he wanted right now was too lay in his bed. But no. Derek had forced him out in the forest instead. It was in the middle of the night and Stiles didn't like this idea at all.
"Derek! You can't just leave me here! I can't see a thing! Derek! AHH! Oh crap that hurt. Stupid tree. You can't just show up like that." Stiles said to the tree that stood in front off him. He hold his hand over his eye. It had got hit by the leaves.
"I can't see and my eye is hurting! This isn't funny, Derek!" He said angrily.
"Also it seems like the trees are attacking me..." He whispered.
"Maybe if you are more quiet they will stop trying to kill you" Derek said behind him and laughed.
"For gods sake, Derek!" Stiles bursted out and turned around.
Derek stood in front off him in the fog and looked at him. He was still laughing.
"I wanna go home Derek. I don't wanna be here anymore. Please? Just let's go back to your car and search after Scott somewhere..." Stiles started to say and then he stopped.
"Scott isn't gone... Am I right?" He said and looked at Derek.
"I'm pretty sure he is asleep in his bed" Derek answered.
"So you have tricked me out here! Why? It's a scary place and I'm not really a big fan off scary places!" Stiles said.
He was angry. How could he be so stupid. Of course Scott wasn't gone. And now he was out in the middle of the forest together with a werewolf. Alone.
"I just wanted to speak to you" Derek said and started to walk towards him.
"I have a phone you know. And if I hadn't forgot it at my place I would have called my dad by now." Stiles said.
"I'm not afraid of your dad, Stiles." Derek smiled and grabbed Stiles arm.
"You should be, Sourwolf." Stiles was still angry.
"Don't call me that. You know I don't like it. And right now I'm not the one who is a bit boring." Derek looked at him. Stiles tried to not look at his face. His eyes.
"Yeah, but being in a dark forest in the middle of the night together with a werewolf isn't funny." Stiles said and tried to remove Derek's hand.
"What? No. Just let me go!"
"Be quiet, Stiles." Derek whispered now. He looked around. He couldn't see anything.
"I was sure I heard something..." He mumbled.
"There's no one here." Stiles said and also looked around.
"Maybe..." Derek answered. He was still holding Stiles arm.
"It was probably only some animal. You should calm down a little." Stiles said and looked at Derek.
His anger was gone. The only thing he could focus on right now was that Derek was standing really close to him.
"You wanted to talk." He said and tried to think about something else than Derek's cheekbones.
"What? Oh yeah. I just wanted to ask you..." Derek said.
"Ask me what?"
"Just let me get to the point, Stiles! You are more frustrating than a little child!" Derek bursted out and grabbed Stiles other arm.
"Hey! Let me go!"
"Stiles. I just wanted to tell you... I wanted to tell you that I'm... That I'm trying. That I'm really trying."
Stiles looked up at Derek's face. He was really confused.
"What are you trying?"
"I... I really... I'm sorry, Stiles."
"Woah! Really. You're sorry? For what?" Stiles asked surprised.
"I'm sorry that I'm such an idiot. Ok? I'm really sorry for saying so mean stuff to you and I really going too act nicer to you because you don't deserve this treatment from me. And I really don't want you to think that I think that you are a stupid human. Because thats not true. You're a really strong person, Stiles. And I just want you to know that I li-"
Derek said fast and then he gasped. He looked down at his stomach. His white T-shirt started to colour red. Stiles that was in chock after Derek's words didn't noticed the look in Derek's eyes. Then he started to see movement behind the trees and he understood that they weren't alone.
"Uh... Derek behind you." Stiles said slowly. Derek turned around and saw the humans that stood with their weapons pointed at him.
"Oh my god Derek! You're bleeding! You have been shot!" Stiles screamed.
"It's nothing. Don't worry about it." Derek said. His focus was on the humans weapons.
"How could they found us? We are in a forest! And you can barely see a thing 4 metres away..." Stiles started to get panic.
"Be quiet, Stiles." Derek tried not to moan. The wound really started too hurt.
"I don't know about you guys! But this guy here is an alpha! And he is starting to look a bit pale, don't ya think?" One of the humans said. His companions started to laugh. That was the last thing Derek heard before he fell onto the ground. He heard their laugh and Stiles voice that tried to reach him. He couldn't move! He couldn't even stand up and now Stiles were in danger. Stiles hands reached down to him and tried to help him up. One of the men grabbed Stiles and carried him away. The last thing Derek saw was Stiles who was fighting against the man then everything went black.
